11th JULY
Farmers’ Breakfast Briefing – Funding the next generation of on-farm AD plants

The farming sector is at a crossroads with Defra having recently consulted on replacing the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy with an environmental land management system which could usher in the next generation of on-farm AD plants, rewarding for public goods such as those of reducing emissions and improving soil quality. The renewable financial incentives that have supported on-farm AD to date are changing, but there are refinance and consolidation opportunities and new roads to finance on offer including the recently reformed Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation.
