Position: Bioenergy Director
Stephen has spent 20 plus years working at a senior level in the waste resources and renewable energy sectors with experience covering operational management, business development, engineering and technical design and delivery for both operators and consultants.
Stephen has an Engineering Doctorate (EngD) and a 1st class honours degree in Environment Management from Cranfield University. Stephen has led the design, delivery and operation on over £500m of infrastructure including anaerobic digestion, gasification and pyrolysis, mechanical and biological treatment, composting, materials recovery facilities and waste fuel plants for Suez, Renewi (formerly Shanks Waste Management) and Cementir Holdings. Whilst working in the consultancy sector for Ricardo Energy & Environment and Wood Group Stephen has led a number of technical and commercial due diligence projects and operational improvement projects for clients that have included private sector operators, investors, developers and local authorities both in the UK and internationally.
Stephen takes an active role within the sector and is a Trustee for CIWM, a Director for the Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre (IBioIC) and an active member of both ADBA and IrBEA.
