Bio: Joseph Kenny has eight years of experience in the resource and waste sector and currently leads a team of recycling officers across two local authorities. He develops and delivers strategies to reduce waste, increase reuse and boost recycling rates. With a strong background in managing large-scale waste and environmental contracts, Joseph brings expertise in sustainability legislation, particularly around the circular economy. He has a passion for tackling food waste and promoting sustainable food systems, which was the focus of his award-winning MSc thesis on the sustainability impacts of introducing food waste collections.
