Gen-C to highlight benefits of pay-as-you-go engine support at World Biogas Expo

Gas engine specialist Gen-C will showcase its flexible pay-as-you-go approach to engine support at the World Biogas Expo 2022. Promising to cut engine servicing costs by up to 50%, increase CHP uptime and improve overall plant efficiency, Gen-C’s digital-first offering enables frustrated AD plant operators to break free from expensive and restrictive CHP servicing contracts.

Flexible support in action

Gen-C will also showcase how its customers have benefitted since making the switch to its fresh take on CHP servicing. On-farm AD plant operator Nigel Bloom of Springvale Energies got in touch with Gen-C when his E70 service was due. Frustrated at having to wait up to three days for his long-term service provider to restart his engines whenever they went down, the tipping point came when they proposed charging an additional £150,000 for the E70 service, on top of the ongoing daily fee he was already paying. “By breaking away from our CHP service contract and switching to Gen-C’s pay-as-you-go option, we’ve cut our service and maintenance costs by 50% over the course of a year,” reveals Nigel. “We’re now in the driving seat, managing our engines ourselves and getting true value for money.”

New, used and rental CHPs
