It’s vital when identifying suitability of feedstocks — in the form of waste or product — you assess their quality. Potential investors could consider low supply or quality as a financial risk. Meanwhile, plant owners with a plentiful supply of higher quality feedstock can better secure finance and lower their OPEX costs. Come to this session to review the value of feedstock types, learn how to assess and monitor consistency of input and discover the path to better yields.

Over the last decade or so, the biogas industry has grown largely from government support schemes and subsidies the world over. Whilst the industry is transitioning to increasing levels of market-oriented finance, government subsidy will continue to be important to help the industry sustain and continue to grow.
In the UK, until 2028, the primary government policy mechanism is the Green Gas Support Scheme. In this session, we will hear to make a successful application for support for this and extract what universal principles can be derived for this that can be applied for other support schemes across the globe.
