By Car

The NEC is just off the M42 east of Birmingham and has 16,500 parking spaces which can be pre-booked for £12 per day/ Shuttle buses run regularly between the car parks and the Piazza Main Entrance from one hour before the exhibition opens until one hour after if closes. The NEC have recently upgraded their facilities for parking and getting to the venue.

By Rail

The NEC is located next to Birmingham International railway station. The NEW entrance is clearly signposted. There are services from around Britain to Birmingham International, but you can also take the train to Birmingham New Street and catch a local service onwards to the NEC. From Birmingham International Railway Station, access to the NEC is via our covered ‘Bridglink’.

By Coach

National Express and Megabus run over 120 daily services from across the UK to Birmingham Airport, from which you can take the free AirRail link to the NEC. The link leaves the airport from the upper level of Terminal 1. Regular local buses depart from Birmingham City Centre. The 900 service runs every 15 minutes and takes around 30 minutes and the 97 service operates every 30 minutes and takes around 45 minutes.

By Aeroplane

The NEC is just minutes away from Birmingham Airport (BHX) and can easily be accessed via the free AirRail link which leaves from the upper level of Terminal 1. The NEC is also around 37mi/60km from East Midlands Airport (EMA). If you are flying into London, trains to Birmingham leave regularly from London Euston and London Marylebone.

FAQs

Wheelchair access:

All levels of The NEC are accessible to wheelchair users, via lifts, and have wheelchair friendly toilet facilities. The Piazza and Atrium main entrances have automatic doors.

Business services:

The Piazza Visitor and Business Centre is located between Halls 4 and 5 and will be open from 09.00 until 17.00

Canvassing:

Canvassing for orders by unauthorised persons is strictly prohibited. In any such instance, the right of expulsion will be exercised. Distribution of circulars and promotional materials by exhibitors must take place within their purchased stand space

Cloakrooms:

Cloakroom facilities are available. They are located next to Hall 3’s Main Entrance. A £1 per item charge applies.

Emergency services:

Fire, medical and security services are operated from the Site Operations Centre on the NEC Piazza between Halls 1 and 2. In an emergency, please use the nearest internal phone located at all entrances to the Halls and rear access doors. Dial:

6666 for security emergencies
