Agrico to unveil perfect pump solutions at World Biogas Expo
Established biogas pump and mixer supplier, Agrico Pumps, will showcase a range of novel solutions to ease operators’ equipment headaches at the World Biogas Expo this summer (Stand A13, 9-10 July 2025, NEC Birmingham).
At the top of the list is the BIO-MIX 200 from Agrico’s German product partner WANGEN Pumps. A durable and hard-wearing hopper feed pump especially designed for large biogas plants, this progressive cavity pump boasts the highest flow rate in its class and delivers superior performance even when faced with the most abrasive and fibrous feedstocks.
Also being showcased on the Agrico stand is the WANGEN BIO-ROXX, a substrate mixing and separation system. By intensively mixing solid and liquid fractions and removing any contaminants including debris and rocks, it accelerates fermentation, reduces the formation of floating layers and prevents contaminant build-up in the digester, protecting downstream plant and equipment and boosting biogas yield.
In addition to WANGEN equipment, Agrico will also be promoting the EISELE range of pumps and mixers, including the GTW range of energy-efficient submersible mixers. Offering easy access via hatches suitable for both membrane and concrete digester roofs, these mixers make planned and reactive maintenance simple, extending the product lifespan and reducing operational downtime.
