Emission And Odour Control For The Industry

Exeon have provided odour control solutions to the waste industry for a number of years and are familiar with the requirements of the AD industry, which typically are because of:
– Reception and depackaging of waste
– Storage and transfer of food waste to and from buffer tanks, pasteurisation tanks, post- digestate and slurry tanks

We do also frequently encounter troublesome odour control systems for waste sites. Often these are over-engineered and more expensive than they need to be to achieve BAT compliance. It’s vital to consider odour control within the design of an anaerobic digestion facility, to ensure Best Available Technique compliance (BAT) is considered to adhere to permit guidelines, and that adequate plant space is allowed for.

We are familiar with the odour requirements of de-packaging halls, as well as the tank farm concentrated odour of Buffer Tanks, Pasteurisation tanks etc. Exeon frequently encounter troublesome odour control systems for AD & Waste sites due to incorrect design. Also, some are over-engineered, and could be value engineered to achieve compliance.
