Bio: Mr Bengt Hansen works as an Application Manager in Kemira, segment Water Solutions. He has a master’s degree in chemical engineering and more than 35 years of experience in the field of water, wastewater and sludge treatment, including biogas. His core expertise is to combine chemical processes with aerobic, anoxic and anaerobic biological processes in wastewater treatment and biogas plants but he also has a long experience in phosphorus recovery. Mr Hansen has a broad international experience and been active on six continents and been a board member of the European Sustainable Phosphorus Platform and The Swedish Association for Water.
