The World Biogas Expo – Event Preview

A one-stop shop for all things AD and biogas

Attending the World Biogas Expo is mission-critical for anyone in the biogas sector. It offers a unique and unparalleled opportunity to accelerate progress, partnerships and profitability in an industry that is central to delivering on global climate, energy, and circular economy goals.

Here’s why:

1. Showcasing Innovation Across the Value Chain

From feedstock handling to digestate processing and biomethane upgrading, the Expo covers the entire biogas ecosystem. Attendees get hands-on access to the tools that are revolutionising biogas production and use. Trial new products, speak to industry experts and acquire services to boost your productivity in our exhibition area.

2. Unmatched Networking Opportunities

Biogas is growing fast—but it’s still a collaboration-driven industry. The Expo is the best venue to forge international partnerships, meet policy influencers, funders, and project leads and find new suppliers, clients, and technology collaborators. The World Biogas Expo event app makes connecting with exhibitors and meeting with colleagues and clients stress free. Book meetings, request information and connect with a click of a button. New for 2025, conduct your meetings over a game of indoor mini golf!

3. Technical, Market & Policy Insights

Watch live presentations from industry specialists in our Engine Room theatre, covering hot topics such as optimising plant performance, Carbon Markets, valorising digestate and new technologies, or listen to thought leadership panel discussions in our Summit theatre.

The Expo gathers top industry leaders,  investors, innovators and policymakers from around the world. It’s the only place where you can hear the latest policy updates and trends affecting biogas (EU, US, emerging markets).

4. Access to New Markets

If you want to grow internationally, this is where you’ll learn how to break into new markets (e.g. Brazil, India, EU, US), understand how local regulations and incentives affect your projects, connect with decision-makers from countries looking to implement anaerobic digestion (AD) at scale.

5. #Making Biogas Happen

By attending the World Biogas Expo & Summit, you support the collective effort to raise the visibility of biogas, make the case for AD as a key tool in methane mitigation, clean energy, soil health, and food security and drive demand for better carbon accounting and fair treatment of biogas.

In short: The World Biogas Expo is not just an event. It’s where the future of the biogas industry is shaped. If you’re serious about growth, influence, and impact, you can’t afford to miss it.
